Fern Selesnick M.Ed., Lead Career Advisor and Training Specialist
Fern is a professional career advisor, writer, and trainer with over 20 years' experience serving community members and organizations. She founded Fern Selesnick Consulting in 2002. Her decision came after years of witnessing the powerful impact of effective career services and stable housing on peoples' lives. We were voted one of Hartford's Best 10 Resume Services for 2019 and Fern has received the Collaborative Service excellence in workshop facilitation from the Citizen's Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) of Massachusetts. Fern holds an M.Ed. from Antioch University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is certified by Consulting Psychologists Press to administer the Strong Interest Inventory. She lives in Western Massachusetts.
Heather Day LMSW, Social Media Advisor
Heather is a skilled youth advisor, community leader, and trainer on personal growth and diversity for schools, youth groups, and non-profit organizations in New York and Western Massachusetts. She currently serves as Director of Youth Programs for Neighbors in Action (NIA), Brooklyn, NY. Heather holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Connecticut College. She possesses a certificate in Community Action and Public Policy from Connecticut College .
